HB4445 HFAT Manchin 3-14

    Chairman Manchin moves to amend the title of the bill to read as follows: 

    H.B. 4445 – “A BILL to amend and reenact §61-2-9 and §61-2-28 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, all relating amending the elements of assault and battery; and modifying the elements of “assault”, "battery", “domestic assault” and "domestic battery" to include the use or attempted use of physical force.”
